One of Bill’s hobbies is baseball. He practices it hard and sets his heart on being a baseball (umpire/referee/arbitrator) one day. His mother is rather worried about this. “How can you be so (disinterested/uninterested) in anything but baseball? Maybe you can help your brother (till/until) the farm or read some books as alternatives to pass your free time,” his mother suggested. “Well, I think that he (used to/ is used to) working on his own,” Bill replied. His mother was so unhappy with Bill’s attitude, and finally she resorted to extreme means. “Listen, if you don’t (use/ employ/utilize) your time well, I am going to put away all your baseball stuff,” his mother said seriously. “Ok, I got you. I’ll go right off to get my homework done,” Bill said reluctantly.
